How you pay decides what you can do if an order never arrives. Some methods let you ask a bank or payment company to reverse the payment. Others work like handing over cash. This is general information, not legal advice; rules differ by country, bank and card. Vendors sell these compounds as research chemicals, not for human use.
What stores accept
On Sep 25, 2026 the site had read the policy pages of 113 live store sites. 65 of them named the payment methods they take:
| Method | Stores |
|---|---|
| Crypto | 44 |
| Bank transfer (wire, ACH, Wise, e-Transfer) | 37 |
| Card | 27 |
| PayPal | 19 |
| Zelle, Cash App or Venmo | 12 |
| Western Union | 12 |
| Other, such as Apple Pay, Alipay or gift cards | 19 |
Most list more than one. 8 take crypto only, and 25 list neither card nor PayPal. Each store page shows the methods its own pages named; a blank means the site couldn't confirm them.
Card
A card payment can be disputed through the bank that issued your card, not through the store. Visa describes a dispute as "the reversal of the value (or partial value) of a transaction by the card issuer". The bank decides, it will ask for evidence, and time limits apply. For a US credit card, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau says to call the card company and also send a written billing error notice within 60 days after the charge appeared on your statement. Rules for debit cards differ; ask your bank. A dispute is never guaranteed.
PayPal
PayPal's US Purchase Protection terms, last updated January 26, 2026, say a dispute for an item not received "must be opened within 180 days of the date you sent the payment to the seller". Not covered: "Personal Payments including payments sent using PayPal's friends and family functionality" and "Anything prohibited by PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy". That policy bars payments involving "narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety". PayPal decides whether an order is covered when you file. If a store asks you to pay as friends and family, that payment has no Purchase Protection.
Zelle, Cash App and Venmo
These apps are built for paying people you know:
- Zelle recommends against using it if you don't know the person or aren't sure you will get what you paid for, and says it "does not offer purchase protection".
- Cash App says "Cash App to Cash App payments are instant and usually can't be canceled". If a payment can't be canceled, "the recipient can refund it".
- Venmo's Purchase Protection page says payments made without the "Turn on for purchases" toggle are not eligible, and that marking a payment as a purchase "does not mean that Purchase Protection automatically applies".
The Federal Trade Commission's advice if you paid a scammer is to report it at once to the app, or to your bank for Zelle, and ask for a reversal. It may not work.
Bank transfer and Western Union
Wires, ACH payments and e-Transfers move money from your bank to the store's account. Once it arrives, getting it back usually depends on the store or its bank agreeing. Wise says that once a transfer is marked Completed, "the money has left Wise, so we can't cancel it". Western Union's advice is "Only send money to people you know and trust." The FTC says wiring money through services like Western Union "is like sending cash".
Crypto
Crypto is the method most of these stores take, and the hardest to undo. Coinbase says transactions "cannot be cancelled or altered once they are initiated" and "cannot be undone, outside of asking the recipient for a refund". The FTC says crypto payments "don't have the same legal protections as credit and debit cards do". In a July 22, 2026 alert, it said people reported their largest losses the year before, more than $4 billion in total, to scams paid by bank transfer and crypto. A discount for paying in crypto comes with no way to reverse the payment.
Before you pay
- Look the domain up on the domain check. Lookalike sites copy real stores; see how to check a store's domain.
- If a chat or email asks you to pay a different wallet or account from the one at checkout, stop and confirm through a channel you already trust.
- Take extra care with orders arranged by chat. At least 12 of the 113 live sites handle orders or price quotes over WhatsApp, Telegram or email instead of a web checkout.
- Keep the order confirmation, the payment receipt or transaction ID, chat screenshots and tracking.
If something goes wrong
Contact the store first and keep its reply. Then go quickly to whoever moved the money: your card issuer, PayPal, the app, your bank or the exchange. Every provider has time limits.
Then tell the next buyer. Report a site that took payment and sent nothing, or share how an order went. The form asks which payment method you used. Moderators read every report before it appears on the buyer reports page, only moderators see evidence files, and stores can respond or dispute.
