Thymalin is a Russian prescription medicine made from the thymus glands of calves, an extract of polypeptides rather than one defined peptide. It is registered in Russia (Samson-Med) and Belarus (Belmedpreparaty) as a 10 mg powder for injection; the FDA, the EMA and Health Canada have not approved it, and vials sold by research vendors under this name are not the registered medicine.
